ALWAYS carry your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Most roadside stops have squat toilets and a water hose (the "bum gun"). If you are not used to the water hose, bring wet wipes.

When you see a clean toilet at a restaurant or guesthouse, use it! Don't wait for the next "official" stop.
