Traveling from Kandy to Kadugannawa by bus is incredibly easy and cheap. Simply go to the Kandy Goods Shed bus terminal and hop on any bus heading towards Colombo. Literally every Colombo bound bus must drive directly through the Kadugannawa pass. The journey takes only about 30 to 40 minutes, and you can just ask the conductor to drop you off right near the Dawson Tower.
