If a last tuk exists this late it is a Gopallawa pin not leftover Dalada

Companion to last-tuk-of-the-night. Partner is standing on the inland step waving at the dark as if Dalada were still a rank. Police corridors were William Gopallawa and Old Peradeniya. If anything is moving this late, is it that bypass, or are we hailing a religious street that finished three hours ago on Ada's clock.

Season corridors: William Gopallawa Mawatha and Old Peradeniya Road for Colombo in/out. Dalada is the loop, not a rank this late. Do not stand in a leftover cone-line waving at headlights. I cannot swear whether Gopallawa still had a three-wheeler.

If you do not need a tuk, you do not need this argument. Bed. No invented fare.

Gopallawa had one; Dalada had tape. We needed neither.
