The Udarata Menike made her maiden journey to Ambewela following the reopening of the Badulla-Ambewela line late last December. It is fully operational this April. This route is spectacular for tea enthusiasts as it passes through some of the highest altitude estates on the island. Book the observation cabin for the best views of the dairy farms.
