I want to take the Udarata Menike train through the dairy farms. Is the track work finished and what is the schedule.

The Badulla to Ambewela railway line was officially reopened at the end of December and is fully operational this April. The Udarata Menike makes daily journeys. It is one of the most scenic sections of the hill country rail network, passing right through the New Zealand farms area. You can book seats online up to thirty days in advance to ensure you get a spot in the observation cabin.
