Night buses exist but are generally less comfortable and not the safest option for first-time visitors, especially with luggage. Roads can be winding and driving at night adds risk. AC buses are better than non-AC but still not as comfortable as a train or private driver. If you must travel at night, choose a reputable company, sit near the front, keep valuables with you, and try to stay awake or alert. Many travelers prefer day travel or overnight trains for safety and comfort. Night buses are cheap but you trade comfort and peace of mind. For most people, a day journey or private driver is worth the extra cost.

Night buses are cheaper but less comfortable and not ideal for first-timers. Day travel or private driver is usually better.
