9.31, Queen's Hotel side. Cooler is open. Relic is home. Kid has had a night. Other thread is the juice cart on Raja Veediya. This is specifically: eating ice cream on the steps facing the Maligawa at 9.31, after. Allowed, or the carnival thing DIG said it is not.

DIG's line was it is not a carnival - no cheering, whistling, seats blocking devotees. An ice cream on the Queen's steps after the relic is in is not an arrest. It is still facing a temple. Step off the sacred sightline, eat, walk. Do not sit in a remaining dancer's path.

We ate on the inland side of Queen's, not staring at the gate with a dripping stick. Fine.
