If we leave our Ella homestay at 430 AM to hike Little Adams Peak, will it be safe, and do hosts usually pack breakfasts.

It is very safe; the path is well-worn and you will likely see other tourists doing the same. Bring a headlamp. Almost all Ella homestays will happily pack you a breakfast of sweet rotis and bananas if you request it the night before.

Little Adams Peak is quite an easy walk compared to Ella Rock. You do not need a guide.
