Met said showers in Western today - is the Kelani underpass a lake again or just wet tarmac

In a Cinnamon-side hotel watching the radar because we have a van at 9 tomorrow. Last month every group chat was an underpass video. DMC midweek said rivers normal. It spat on Galle Road at 5. Do we leave extra hour for a flooded dip or is that 2024 muscle memory.

Today's Met is "several spells of showers" in Western, not a red flood warning. DMC 18 Aug had major rivers normal; Kelani at Kitulgala was well under alert then. I have not seen a 21 Aug underpass closure. Leave the usual 20-minute rain slack, not a two-hour flood slack, unless the 6am radio says otherwise.
