Missed tonight from A-Bay - is a 10pm night bus toward Kandy a real move or do we stay put

8.48 in Arugam Bay. Just saw the Ada Derana clip. We are not in Kandy. Hostel guy says "10 o'clock bus, you can still do Saturday." Superline's 10pm board I can actually see is Wellawatta to the east, not us to Kandy. Is there a real overnight from this coast that gets us to the 5th Kumbal at 6.28 tomorrow or are we inventing a coach. Saturday Mambo vs a Kumbal we already know is the thin one.

Do not invent a 10pm A-Bay->Kandy tourist coach. Superline's published 10:00 PM luxury runs are Colombo Pettah / Wellawatta -> Passara / Trincomalee / Akkaraipattu - the wrong direction for you. Pottuvil/Akkaraipattu has east-coast buses toward Colombo overnight; that is not a Kandy arrival at 4pm with a hotel. A private van overnight is the honest "be in Kandy Saturday" product, and it is a long, expensive Friday-night decision.

Saturday is still a Kumbal (last one, 6.28). The jump is Sunday Randoli 6.44. If you missed tonight, staying in A-Bay for Saturday and moving Sunday/Monday is the saner trip. Met has a Caution heat advisory for the Eastern province tomorrow daytime - that is your Saturday, not Kandy's.
