We are planning to hit the beach clubs in Ahangama until 3 AM. Is it easy to find a tuktuk back to our hostel in Midigama that late.

There are always tuk-tuks parked directly outside the big clubs like Lamana or Trax. However, they operate a "night tariff mafia" and will demand triple the normal price because they know you are drunk. Walk 100 meters down the Galle road away from the club exit, flag a passing driver, and you can negotiate a much fairer rate.

The absolute safest option is to ask your guesthouse owner to pre-book a driver to pick you up at a set time.
