I need a new SD card for my GoPro. Are the cheap electronics stalls in Pettah market selling genuine products or fake capacities.

Do NOT buy SD cards or memory drives from the street stalls in Pettah. They are almost universally counterfeit Chinese imports that spoof their capacity. A "128GB" card will corrupt after 8GB of footage. If you need electronics, go to a verified shop in Majestic City or Liberty Plaza.

I bought a power bank there that felt heavy, but when it broke I opened it and it was just two AA batteries taped to a metal weight.
