Quoted USD 90 all-in for Yala for two - is the park ticket extra?

Tissa guesthouse says USD 90 for the jeep. Facebook says foreigner tickets are USD 40 each. Are we about to get a second bill at the gate?

Two bills. One is the DWC permit at the gate or online, priced in USD, paid in LKR. Two is jeep plus tracker, per vehicle. A cheap "safari" quote is often jeep only.

Operators keep describing a foreign adult total around USD 40-45 after service, parking, 18% tax, built from a USD 25 base plus about 10 service plus about 1 parking plus tax. Kids 6-12 about half, under 6 usually free. SAARC lower. Horton similar band. Confirm at the park, I have not watched them print a 2026 PDF in front of me.

Jeep half-day often LKR 12,000-25,000 (Yala/Wilpattu toward the top), full day 25,000-45,000+. For two foreigners, realistic all-in half-day is more like USD 120-180. So yes, 90 for the jeep then tickets on top is a normal ugly surprise.

Asking them to write jeep vs tickets. 90 is the car, got it.
