Advisory 9.07am: 2.5-3 m Chilaw to Pottuvil via Galle/Matara, surge Beruwala-Matara. We are in Unawatuna because the east felt far. Hotel says "no swimming flag." Is that the same amber that expired yesterday or a new Friday note. I just want to know if a sunset dip is stupid.

This morning's marine advisory is a new 21 Aug note, not the midweek amber you already argued about. Near-shore surge Beruwala-Matara includes you. Brown, dumping, rips. Look at the water. If the hotel has a flag down, believe the flag. The bay can still be photogenic and unswimmable.
