Temple of the Tooth in Kandy — extra busy or any special events this week?

It's been a fairly normal week — busy but not unusually so. Mornings tend to be calmer than afternoons. If there's a special poya or festival it would be more crowded, but nothing major reported this week. The temple is always popular with both locals and tourists, so expect some crowds regardless. Early morning visits are generally quieter. The experience is still very worthwhile even with some people around — the site is large enough that it doesn't feel overwhelmingly crowded most of the time. This week has been pretty typical.
