Two of us made the hotel, two never arrived - is the reunion pin still staffed at 9.15
We were four. Two of us just walked in. The other two's last pin was Queen's lake-side when the tusker went by. WhatsApp is one grey tick, calls go to voicemail, and the police map has a reunion pin I cannot tell is a 6pm thing or an all-night thing. Do we walk back out or sit here so they have one fixed door.

One pair stays at the hotel door - do not both pairs walk. The other two should be told (SMS / a local's phone / the porter) to go to Queen's lake-side or the reunion pin on kandyesalaperahera.police.lk, not to wander alleys. Season hotline 081 22 33 333. Tourist assistance is part of the deployment; 9.15 is not closing time for a missing-person pin on a Perahera night.
We were the missing pair last night. An officer at Queen's had already heard our names because the hotel called the hotline. Start with the porter + the number, not with another walk into the lake wall.
119 if you think it is more than "slow in a crowd." Do not wait until midnight to treat it as missing.
