I am wrapping up my south coast trip. Are there any massive closing parties happening in Weligama or Mirissa this weekend before everyone leaves.

You timed it perfectly. This weekend is packed with closing season parties. Tiki Cliff Bar in Weligama is hosting a huge Friday night set, and the beach clubs along Mirissa are running back to back sunset sessions on Saturday. Expect lots of tech house, fire breathers, and a massive crowd of surfers sending off the season.
