July is usually good for south, mostly sunny but can have short rains. Light clothes, quick dry stuff, and a light rain jacket or umbrella just in case. Sunscreen and hat important. Not super rainy season but afternoon showers happen sometimes.

Yeah pack for hot and humid with possible rain. Most places fine with light stuff. Good sandals or water shoes too.

I was there July last year, mostly good but one or two rainy afternoons. Light jacket was useful.
