I heard the south coast season is ending. Is it a good time to visit Trinco for Blue Whale sightings now.

The transition is happening now. While Mirissa sees its final sightings in late April, the Trincomalee season officially kicks off in May. However, some operators are already reporting sightings of Blue Whales off the east coast as they migrate. The sea in Trincomalee is very calm currently, making it an excellent time for ocean activities before the crowds arrive next month.
