You do not need to worry. Cyclone Ditwah did not destroy any hotels on the southern or western coasts. The cyclone made landfall and unleashed its massive floods primarily over the central highlands, affecting rural farming communities and tea estates in Nuwara Eliya and Badulla. The coastal tourist infrastructure in places like Mirissa, Hiriketiya, and Unawatuna was entirely unharmed and remains completely open and fully operational.
