Family chat says "first Test starts Sunday SSC." I think the first one was already Galle. Table in my notes: 2nd Test Sunday 23 Aug 10:00 at SSC. We have Saturday 6.28. Partner wants to leave Kandy Saturday night so we are in Colombo for the toss, not a 6am after a late Kumbal (that thread is closed). Saturday night after 6.28 into a Sunday 10.00 - is that even a real clock or do we skip the 5th and go.

It is the 2nd Test, SSC, Sunday 23 August 10:00 local. First Test was Galle 15-19. Five days 23-27. Saturday 6:28 PM last Kumbal then a night move into Colombo for a 10:00 start is a short night, not a gazette that it is impossible. Skipping 6:28 and moving Saturday daytime is how you actually sleep. I cannot swear a 22 Aug night-road time Kandy-Colombo - do not invent a minute. 1,749 road deaths. If you ride Saturday night, a tired driver after a Kumbal is the same problem in a different shirt.

If the toss is the trip, skip 6:28 and go Saturday morning. If the last Kumbal is the trip, stand 6:28 and be honest that Sunday 10:00 may be session two. Tickets: do not invent a walk-up or a price here - check SLC / the official channel in daylight, not a 22:52 forum.

We tried parade-then-night-bus-then-Test once. We slept through the first session. Skip the parade or skip the toss. No invented bus fare, no invented Test ticket.

If the toss is the trip we skip 6.28 and go Saturday morning. Not a tired night road.
