A-Bay is 34 degrees and overcast Friday night - is Mambo even a thing or do we sleep through the heat advisory
Sitting on the point. No rain here, just a lid of cloud and the fan losing. Met had a caution-level heat index for the east today. Surf look is 3-ish feet and long. Hostel wants Mambo. Saturday is the party night I keep reading. Do we go out tonight or is Friday a sweaty dud.

Today's east advisory was a daytime heat-index caution. 8pm is still hot - A-Bay's Friday page was high ~34°C / low ~26, 0 mm. Mambo's listed hours include Friday 8pm-3am; the famous one is still Saturday. Surf looks rideable, not epic. If you cooked all day, swim at dusk, drink water, go out late or don't.
2.5-4 ft with a long period is a fun Friday, not a swell alert. Morning will be cleaner than 4pm wind.
Heat advisory does not cancel nightlife. It cancels midday beer-pong. Tonight is fine if you ate salt and water.
