I know the main season is Dec-March but I'm here now. Is it still possible to climb Adam's Peak or will it be constantly raining and leech-infested?

It is doable but you need good rain gear and leech socks. The path is much quieter (almost no pilgrims) so you get the summit to yourself, which is magical. However, the cloud cover is often thick so sunrise views are hit-and-miss. Many people still do it in July-August and enjoy the peace.

We climbed in early August. It rained on the way up but cleared at the top for 20 minutes. The lack of crowds made it one of our best experiences in Sri Lanka. Bring proper waterproofs and a headlamp.
