Any power cuts or issues in Ella/Nuwara Eliya this week? Need reliable electricity for work.
Working remotely and need stable power. How's the situation in the hill country right now?

It's been pretty stable this week in most hill country areas. Some places still have occasional brief outages but nothing major or prolonged recently. Many hotels and guesthouses that cater to remote workers have backup systems now. If power is critical for your work, it's worth choosing accommodation that specifically mentions backup power or UPS — most places that host digital nomads do. The situation has improved a lot compared to a couple of years ago, but having a small power bank or backup plan is still sensible.
Mostly stable this week. Some places have backup power. Choose accommodation that mentions it if you need reliability for work.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
