Don't carry food openly. They are smart and will grab. Keep bags closed and don't feed them. They usually ignore if you ignore them.

I had one try to take my bag once. Learned to keep food hidden after that.

Yeah no food in hands. They can be bold at some temples. Just walk past calmly.
