Seenigama is dedicated to Devol Deviyo, a deity protecting fishermen and the community. As long as you are quiet and respectful, meditating there at sunrise before hitting the Hikkaduwa reef is a beautiful local ritual.

Just be aware that some locals visit that specific temple to cast curses on their enemies! It has a very intense, unique energy.
