Your main entrance ticket to the Dambulla Cave Temple covers your access to the caves completely. However, there is a very small, mandatory shoe minding fee when you reach the top of the rock. You must leave your shoes at the designated rack outside the sacred area, and the caretakers charge roughly 25 to 50 LKR per pair. There are absolutely no hidden camera fees or extra charges to enter the individual shrines inside.
