During the absolute peak tourist season the main entrance blocks of Yala absolutely become severely heavily congested. Dozens of loud jeeps will aggressively rush to a single leopard sighting kicking up massive thick dust clouds.

Wilpattu offers completely empty serene dirt tracks where you might easily drive for hours without seeing another tourist vehicle. It is stunningly flawlessly beautiful and perfectly suited for serious passionate nature lovers.
