Are tuk-tuks safe for young children and do any have child seats or restraints?
I'm traveling with a toddler. How safe are tuk-tuks for small children and should I bring a car seat?

Standard tuk-tuks don't have child seats or restraints. For a toddler, many parents find them manageable for short rides if the child sits securely between adults, but they're not ideal for long journeys or very young children. Some hotels can arrange larger tuk-tuks or small vans with better seating. Bringing a lightweight car seat is an option but can be cumbersome. For families with young children, private drivers or small vans are often more comfortable and safer for longer trips. Short rides around town in a tuk-tuk can be fine with close supervision, but always hold your child securely.
