The Dickwella Resort and Spa is a phenomenal choice for families. It sits directly on a massive peninsula surrounded by shallow highly protected sandbars allowing toddlers to step straight from the hotel gardens into incredibly calm water.
The Araliya Beach Resort in Unawatuna is another brilliant option. Unawatuna bay is naturally very sheltered from heavy swells and the hotel offers direct access to the calmest section of the beach perfect for young children.
