I need a new camera lens/charger. Is Pettah market reliable, or are these all counterfeit goods?

Pettah is a mix. You have genuine shops and street sellers selling knock-offs. If it is in a dedicated store with a warranty, it is fine. If it is on a blanket on the sidewalk, assume it is counterfeit or broken.

Agreed. Liberty Plaza is the go-to for Colombo techies.

For tech, go to Liberty Plaza in Colombo 03. It is much more organized, reputable, and has better prices than the chaos of Pettah.

Also, check the warranty cards. Make sure they are stamped by an authorized distributor.

I will skip Pettah for tech and check out Liberty Plaza then.
