Do we still bargain every tuk and tip 10 percent or is 2026 just pay the app and round up
Confused. PickMe has a number. Street tuks want a conversation. Restaurants add service sometimes. Safari driver hovering at the end. Perahera week feels like everyone has a festival rate. What is the actual custom so we are not the stingy ones or the marks.

App price is the price - round up a bit if they helped with bags. Street tuk: agree before you sit, not after. Restaurant: if service is already on the bill, do not stack 10% unless it was special; if not, a small note is kind. Safari / driver on a day rate: a tip at the end is normal if they were good, not a second invoice. Temple ticket touts: zero.
We stopped bargaining like it was a sport. Asked "PickMe price?" and met in the middle. Happier.
App price, small note if they help with bags. Stopping the sport bargaining.
