Yes virtually all major international travel insurance policies fully cover emergency treatments at premium private hospitals in Colombo like Asiri Nawaloka or Lanka Hospitals. These facilities are internationally accredited. However because outpatient consultation fees are incredibly cheap often under 10 USD it is usually much faster to simply pay the minor fee directly out of pocket in cash rather than navigating the complex claims process for such a tiny amount. If you require overnight admission or surgery then you absolutely must contact your insurance provider to arrange direct billing.
