Rained overnight. We had one hiking morning. Little Adam's Peak looks short and touristy. Ella Rock looks like the real walk but every blog says do not do it in the rain, leeches, wrong ridge. We are average fitness, not heroes.

On a wet morning, Little Adam's Peak. Forty minutes up a stepped path, you will be muddy to the ankles, you will still get the view if the cloud lifts. Ella Rock after overnight rain is a longer, slipperier ridge with a history of people following the wrong tea-estate track. Save Ella Rock for a dry dawn. Leeches are real on both after rain - spray socks, not panic.

We did Little Adam's in trainers. Fine. Passed three people coming down Ella Rock looking like they had fallen in a paddy. They said the last kilometre was clay.

If someone at the junction insists you need them for Little Adam's Peak, you do not. For Ella Rock, a local walker is worth it when the ground is wet.

Train Ticket Reseller ScamVerified

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
