We are in. Host: "send passport photo now for police file, Perahera week." The earlier thread was keep the books overnight for a form. This is a WhatsApp scan at 10.20 after the 4th. Photo of the bio page, or are they about to knock for the physical passports. Partner already almost handed him the stack at the desk.

A photo of the bio page on WhatsApp is a common messy version of a guest register. The physical book stays with you. Do not hand the stack "because Perahera week." If he knocks for the books, photocopy downstairs in the morning, or a scan now, books in your zip. Hard no on "I will lock them in the office overnight."
Extra Tourist Police are in the season plan because of hustles, not because your host needs your passport as hostage. 081 22 33 333 / 119 if it becomes a door problem. I will not treat the host's chat as a gazette that anyone required a 22:20 WhatsApp scan.
