I am participating in a village New Year celebration. Is it safe to eat milk rice that has been left out on the table for a few hours.

Because Kiribath contains coconut milk, it can spoil quickly in the April heat, which is currently exceeding thirty degrees. It is best eaten within two hours of preparation. Traditional fried sweets like Kavum and Kokis are much safer as their low moisture content acts as a natural preservative during the festive week.
