I'm from Poland. Is the "Visa Free" entry extended to us now?
I read a news article that Sri Lanka expanded the "Visa Free" list to 40+ countries starting January 2026.
I am Polish. Am I on this list? Or do I still need to pay the $50 fee? I can't find the official list on the government site, it still looks like the old one.

The "expanded list" is currently in effect as a pilot project, but the website updates are slow.
The Status: Yes, Poland (along with countries like Austria, Belgium, and Netherlands) was added to the "Free Tourist Visa" (Fee Waiver) list for the 2025/2026 winter season.
What to do: You still need to apply at eta.gov.lk. Select "Tourist ETA." When you enter your Polish passport details, the payment page should update to $0.00 automatically.
Warning: If the system asks for payment, do not pay. It means the system is glitching or you selected the wrong category. Retry or check the "Exempt Countries" tab on the homepage first.
