Is it worth going to Adam's Peak in July? Weather okay?

Heard it's rainy season up there. Anyone done it recently or should I skip till later?

July can be wet but mornings are usually clear. If you go early it's doable, but slippery on the way down. Bring good shoes.

I went last July, was fine if you start before 2am. But yeah can rain in afternoon.
