We are traveling with a five year old. Are there steep cliffs we need to worry about.

Yes, Little Adams Peak is incredibly safe and highly suitable for families with young children. The vast majority of the trail is a wide, very gentle incline winding through beautiful tea estates.

Only the very final ten minutes involve climbing actual dirt and stone stairs to reach the summit. While the views from the top are sweeping and spectacular, there are wide, grassy areas where kids can sit safely.

Just ensure you keep a firm hold of their hands right at the absolute edge of the viewing viewpoints, as there are no metal safety railings, but there is plenty of flat space set back from the edge to relax.
