Town, Nallur, Jaffna Fort, islands on the public boats - normal tourism. The warning is off-path scrub in old forward areas, marked with the red inverted-triangle skull signs. Do not "explore abandoned houses in the jungle". Stay on roads and marked sites. Advisories still say remaining mined ground is concentrated in parts of the Northern Province and some east. Respect the markers.
