9.56, still not in. Ampitiya hotel. PickMe is the 8.42 zero-cars thread. Dalada tuks were the 9.30 nose-in thread. This is us, 20 minutes on foot, asking whether any three-wheeler at 9.56 is a real Ampitiya ride or another jeep-shaped exception.

Flag inland, not on Dalada. Sangaraja is the Ampitiya corridor they published - a tuk there is more plausible than a bajaj on the relic street. If nothing stops in two minutes, walk. 20 minutes is shorter than a negotiation. No invented fare.

We walked. A tuk passed us empty and did not stop. Ampitiya at 10:15 on foot. Fine.
