Maligawa cameras still pointed at the street at 10.14 - leftover CCTV or are they still filming us
Floodlights-vs-lamps was whether the street was open. This is the domes still have cameras aimed at Dalada. Partner will not walk past because he thinks we are on a live Perahera feed. Are those just building CCTV that stay on every night or is 10.14 still an event they are recording.

A temple street has cameras when there is no Perahera too. At 10.14 that is building security, not a livestream you are starring in. Walk past like a person. Do not wave. Do not photograph the cameras.
Public visiting hours ended at 8.00. Official live page 404s. Ada has not even wrapped. None of that is "they are still broadcasting you." Do not invent a feed.
We walked under them. Nobody shouted. The rude thing was the couple taking flash selfies into the facade.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
