Minneriya or Kaudulla elephant gatherings happening this week?

The big gatherings have been a bit smaller this week compared to peak times, but there are still good numbers of elephants in both parks. Kaudulla has been slightly better recently according to some drivers. It varies day to day though — some days are excellent, others more average. The season is still active but not at its absolute peak. I'd go with a good operator who knows which park is better on any given day. They often coordinate and will take you where the sightings are stronger.
