If we skip 6.28, partner's hill default is Ella. I just opened Nuwara Eliya Saturday on Foreca (same 22.27 stamp we have been staring at): morning 14 with fog, noon gusts 58, 2-6pm still showering. Is NE the actual Saturday instead-of-Kumbal, or did we pick a colder wetter hill by accident.

NE Saturday (still 22:27): overnight-7am 14C fog, 8am 15C / gusts 50, 10am 18 / 50, 11am gusts 54, noon 19C / gusts 58, 2-6pm rain/showers 0.1-0.4 mm, 6pm still 0.4 mm / 44% / 16C. Kandy 6pm is 0 mm / 25C. You would be leaving a dry last-Kumbal kerb for a wet 16C evening. 58 km/h at noon is a hat-and-hold-the-door hill, not an automatic close. I cannot swear 22 Aug Horton / Gregory closure - none I can see. Do not steal Kandy's noon-50 onto Pedro; NE's own noon is 58.

If 6:28 is the trip, this is not tonight's van. If NE is the trip, leave after sleep, not a 23:16 fantasy. Pack a layer (cotton thread is the other one). No invented van fare.

NE in similar wind was noisy, pretty, wet by 4. I would not swap a last Kumbal for it unless I had already seen four. No invented room rate.

Not a 23:16 van. If NE is the trip we leave after sleep, layer in the bag.
