9.33, Dalada side. Crowd is a trickle. Six dogs on coconut husks and whatever people dropped. Kid wants a photo. We got the "do not feed" speech in Galle. After Perahera, is this just Kandy dogs doing the leftovers or the moment everyone means.

Walk around. Do not feed. Do not photograph with a hand out. Offerings and short-eats hit the ground every Kumbal night; dogs know the schedule. Rabies is the boring reason. A startled pack in a thinning crowd is the practical one.
