After hiking near Ravana Falls, we want to hit the main strip in Ella. Where is the best street kottu to eat before going to the backpacker clubs.

After returning from Ravana Falls, head straight to Matey Hut or the small street stalls near the Ella railway station. They serve the most authentic, fiery roasted chicken kottu. It is heavy carb food, perfect for absorbing alcohol before you head upstairs to Cafe Chill or One Love Bar for the night parties.

Cafe Chill is basically the epicenter of the Ella party scene. You can literally walk in covered in waterfall mud and no one cares.
