Solo girl in mirissa - safe to walk beach at night alone?
Staying near the beach. Is it chill to walk alone after 9pm or should I grab a tuk tuk even for short distances? First time here.

Main beach area is usually fine till 10-11, lots of people around restaurants and bars. But if you're going further or it's quiet, better tuk tuk. I tell solo girls to use common sense, same as anywhere. Most people are friendly but better safe.
I was there last month with my daughter, we felt safe on the main beach but used tuk for anywhere quiet. Better not to test it.
I walked alone a few nights, no issues. But yeah after 11 it gets empty so tuk tuk then. The dogs can be annoying too lol.
Main strip is okay but side roads or if no one around, don't risk it. Tuk tuks are cheap anyway. Most drivers are fine but stick to ones near hotels if possible.
