Street dogs followed us from the kottu shop - do we feed them or is that how the rabies argument actually starts

Not asking whether we needed the jab, already did that homework. Dogs in Ella are everywhere and one slept on our guesthouse step. Kid wants to share chicken. Host said they are "community dogs". What is the 2026 rule so we are kind and not stupid.

Do not feed at the table. You create a restaurant dog and a bite risk. A bowl of water in the heat is kinder than chicken bones (they splinter). Do not run, do not stare down, do not touch a puppy with a mum nearby. If you are licked on a break in the skin, wash hard with soap, see a pharmacy / private clinic about post-exposure - that is the boring adult move, not a forum argument.

We ignored, they got bored. One growl over a rice packet taught the kid faster than I did.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
