I want to avoid the crowds at Weligama. Is SK Town a good alternative for catching unbroken green waves?

SK Town is a fantastic, punchy beach break with dark sand. It is much less crowded than Weligama and picks up slightly more swell. It's perfect for intermediates who want to practice catching faster waves without dodging a hundred foam boards.

The current can be surprisingly strong there, so just be mindful of where you paddle out. Lots of great, quiet little surf camps right on the beach.
