We are taking a tuk-tuk out to the Peanut Farm surf break south of Arugam Bay. How is the wave working right now, and is there anywhere to get good wood-fired pizza nearby to refuel.

Peanut Farm is firing right now! The sandbank is perfectly formed, offering long, peeling right-handers. It is less crowded than Main Point. For food, you have to drive back to Arugam Bay town. Pizza Hub is legendary for authentic Italian wood-fired pizza and is exactly what you need after a 3-hour session.

The tuk-tuk ride through the jungle and around the lagoon to get to Peanut Farm is half the adventure. Watch out for crocodiles near the lake edge when you are paddling out!

If you stay for the sunset session, make sure your tuk-tuk driver waits for you. You do not want to be walking down that dirt road in the dark with wild elephants around.
